Letting it All Go

Have you ever gone through a phase of letting go? Like, really really stepping out of your old ways, moving towards your highest self, evolving into a new person? Well, that’s where I am. I literally feel like a brand new person in an unknown stage because I’ve never been this way before.

I’ve never been so confident, clear, and balanced within my own skin. I used to determine my worth based on what other people thought about me; not my own own opinion. I never felt the right to really OWN myself and embody my full power. But now, things have changed…

There’s been so many shifts within my personal, emotional, and mental lives. So many challenges have come my way, but I can say that I’ve truly learned from them all. The pain I’ve gone through has taught me that I am responsible for my emotions and my actions no matter what.

Life can build or break us, but we make that decision. We decide if we’re gonna stand or fall when we face an obstacle. You can be so in balance to where you’re not tripping at all You don’t have to have someone else to complete you. You don’t have to hold yourself to super high standards just to feel important. You can be yourself!

We give “our” opinions too much power. And, we don’t realize how much opinions change. We are always growing, and who knows how many times our opinions will change? We are not rigid beings. We are forever changing.

Our opinions dominate us, when in fact they usually come from somebody else. We give the power of our self-perceptions to the opinions of others. We allow others to dictate our lives through the power of our mind.

We forget that we’re in charge; in charge of our own vessel. But at the same time, there’s a Charge much larger than us that combines the power of everything. We have no control on what happens in the world outside of us.

We CAN however and MUST take control of what happens on the inside. Our internal world is what determines the external reality. We create our actions with our thoughts. Our thoughts are created by our emotions. Our emotions are created by our perceptions.

Everything starts with you. You are the control mechanism for what comes out of you. Even if you give your power away to others through codependency and blame, you are still responsible. No matter what happens to you, you are responsible for how you respond to life.

You have the power to determine what happens next. Depression may have crept up on you, but you have the power to decide what happens next. You may have gotten fired from a job unexpectedly, but you have the power to decide what happens next.

Nothing has the power to defeat you. You have the innate ability to reclaim your situation by altering your perception. If you take responsibility for yourself and your emotions, you can bypass many of lives challenges because you will be stable. You won’t base your life on what other people think, and you won’t depend on others to provide you purpose.

Whew, now that was a lot. I hope you enjoyed it and learned something 🙂 Now go decide what happens next..
